About Us and your experience
Release your Robin Hood. 🏹🎯 and experience the beauty and power of The English Longbow and Mongolian Horsebow.and learn and feel how they dominated Medieval battlefields. Along this with our expert guidance and our innovative and fun games you will have a day to remember.
We are based at Giant’s Head Camping, Old Sherborne Road, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 7TR.
You will be hosted by Glen who is a qualified ARCHERY GB instructor with a lifelong passion for traditional archery and history.
You will be shooting authentic hand made bows for all physiques. Our arrows are hand made and feather fletched.
We have over 40 authentic English Longbows and Mongolian Horsebows and in the ultimate archery experience we have a vast collection of medieval and modern crossbows and other bows including an authentic 7’ 2” Samurai Yumi bow and a 350lb draw Medieval Crossbow.
We expect everyone to engage fully in any Health and Safety instructions. Whilst our experiences are exciting and fun we take safety very seriously.
All equipment is provided. We guarantee shooting success and lots of fun. You will receive gentle and supportive guidance and instruction.
Our experiences except for Extreme Archery are suitable for 8yrs+. To take part in Extreme Archery you must be 14 yrs old
This is an outdoor experience so please dress appropriately.
Be assured that your experience will last at least the designated time. If we need to wait for a passing shower your time will be extended.
We are available to book any day of the year between 10am and 8pm. Longer experiences are bookable online - if you would like any other time please contact Glen. Our shorter experiences are only bookable by contacting Glen. Other than booking online to secure a booking please call or message me on 07866 722909.
We operate a no questions and no quibbles refund policy right up to the event- Just let us know and we will either rearrange the date or refund any monies paid instantly.
