2 hours of MEDIEVAL Archery followed by lunch of your choice at The Gaggle of Geese and followed by an hour of Axe Throwing.
You’ll start this experience with 2 hours of Medieval Archery.
Hosted by Glen who is an Archery GB instructor with a long term passion for traditional archery you’ll be shooting our English Longbows and Mongolian Horsebows, taking part in games and competing in the best possible way to win our prize for top archery.
We have bows for every age from 8yrs up and for every physique with a variety of draw weights.
After the archery you will be able to have lunch in The award winning Gaggle of Geese pub. Your purchase includes a £20 voucher for food and the bar and you’ll get plenty of time to enjoy your lunch either inside or outside in the beautiful gardens. Check out a sample menu here. Sample.

When you’ve finished lunch you return to our Axe Throwing area where you’ll meet a Viking Lord who will demonstrate and guide you in Axe Throwing our traditional historical axes (some of this previous statement might be a slight exaggeration 🤣). Once you’ve mastered the throw (which won’t take long) you’ll play a number of games with prizes and at the end you’ll be able to try a couple of trick shots🪓😀👀
All safety equipment is provided and for both Axe Throwing and Archery you’ll receive tuition and guidance.
